The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, has discussed with the German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Ohnmacht, the CBL role in the reconstruction program of Derna and the surrounding areas and the possibility of consulting with the World Bank to benefit from its experience in this field.
Both sides reviewed developments in the project to unify the Central Bank of Libya, and the steps taken to adopt a budget for the year 2024, and support the National Oil Corporation to increase production, according to the CBL.
The Libyan-German Economic Forum, which will be held at the end of this February in Libya with the participation of many German and Libyan businessmen, was also discussed.
