The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, has discussed with Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy to Libya, Leslie Ordeman, the disclosure and transparency plan launched by the bank, the monthly statements on public revenues and spending, as well as Public Expenditure Oversight Committee.

The meeting, held Friday in Tunis, dealt with efforts to support the National Oil Corporation, and the implementation of two plans to increase oil and electricity production, approved by the High Council of Energy, according to the bank's statement on its Facebook account.

The two parties also discussed partnership with the US Agency for International Development to support Libyan institutions, and the plan to provide cash for all regions of Libya.
