The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir, has participated in the 13th Andrew Crockett Lecture Governors’ Roundtable for African Central Bankers, which was organized by Oxford University in cooperation with the Center for the Study of African Economics and JP Morgan.

The conference, which was held in the British city of Oxford from June 27 to 29, focused on macroeconomic management in light of international crises, fluctuations in global commodity prices, compliance and dealing with the economic embargo, cybersecurity threats to the global financial system, and virtual currencies of central banks, according to the CBL official Facebook page.

It was attended by a number of bank governors, specialized experts and academics from Oxford University, in addition to the International Monetary Fund.
