Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC) Abdullah Al-Lafi met with UN Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily on Sunday to discuss developments in Libya's political situation.
The meeting addressed the ongoing deadlock, progress in the national reconciliation file, and efforts towards convening the comprehensive national conference with the participation of all relative parties.
Al-Lafi reaffirmed the PC's support for the UN mission's initiatives to advance the political process, achieve stability and prepare for an electoral process.
For his part, Bathily reiterated the UN mission's support for the PC's efforts in implementing the national reconciliation project.
