The Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said on Thursday during bilateral talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow that his country agrees with Russia and they have one vision on the Libyan file.

The Algerian president clarified that his country’s positions are firm regarding the necessity of giving priority to peaceful solutions to the crises in both Libya and Mali, adding Libya is a friendly country to Russia and Algeria, and they wish it prevails in security and stability.

The two presidents discussed a number of international issues, with a focus on the situation in Syria, Libya, Yemen and Palestine, before signing a comprehensive strategic partnership treaty, as confirmed by the Russian Prime Minister.
