Audit

The Audit Bureau is considering a new cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia, aimed at enhancing performance monitoring, institutional capabilities, and digital transformation initiatives.

Deputy Head of the bureau Atiyat-Allah Abdelkarim met with Ahmed Al-Shehri, Saudi Arabia’s Acting Ambassador to Libya, to discuss the potential partnership.

The talks focused on avenues for collaboration between Libya’s top auditing authority and Saudi Arabia’s General Court of Audit, the kingdom’s highest financial oversight body.

The proposed agreement would facilitate the exchange of expertise and knowledge between the two institutions, reflecting a broader trend of strengthening bilateral ties in governance and financial accountability.
