Two children have been injured in an explosion involving an anti-aircraft shell (14.5) that they were playing with near the Fourth Brigade camp in the Aziziyah area, the Al-Jafara Security Directorate has confirmed.
One of the children was rushed to the Mitiga Hospital after suffering an injury to the head and abdomen, while the other victim sustained a mild injury to the feet and was discharged after receiving treatment.
The Directorate urged residents to stay away from suspicious objects and keep an eye on their children to avoid any accidents that may lead to loss of life, calling on citizens to report any foreign objects to the nearest police station.
