Prime Minister Abdul Hamid dbeibah has called on the African Union's high-level committee on Libya to work closely from inside the country and reach out to all segments of society.

Dbeibah's remarks came during his reception of the committee's members led by Congolese Foreign Minister Jean-Claude Gakosso in Tripoli on Tuesday.

They discussed the role of the Government of National Unity (GNU) in national reconciliation and its efforts to make it a success, including its keenness to promote stability in the country, the marked improvement of public services, and kickstarting development projects nationwide without distinction.

According to the GNU media office, the delegation conveyed a message from the Chairperson of the AU Commission, Moussa Faki, to the Prime Minister, who in turn invited Faki to visit Libya.
