The spokesman for the eastern-based interim government, Hatem Oreibi, said that the committee charged by the government to investigate with persons working with the Presidential Council is preparing a list of wanted people for investigation in coordination with the security authorities.

Oreibi added that the committee "will take all deterrent measures with those who were found to have contact with the Presidential Council and its illegal government by suspending them from duty or referring them to the prosecution office and competent authorities”.

On November 15, the government of Abdullah al-Thani formed a committee to investigate with persons accused with dealing with the Tripoli-based Presidential Council and its government, describing them as “traitors”.
