EgyptAir has announced plans to launch new flights from Cairo to Misrata International Airport, starting next September.

Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Mohamed Abbas, announced in press statement that a number of new lines will be opened for EgyptAir soon, as the national carrier is scheduled to launch flights to Misrata, Libya, and Tokyo, Japan, with two flights per week for each, in September.

With the expected flights to Misrata Airport, EgyptAir will increase the number of its stations in Libya to three, as it already flies to Mitiga Airport in Tripoli and Benina Airport in Benghazi.
