The former Spanish coach of the Libyan football team Javier Clemente, said that a decision to impose sanctions on the Libyan Football Federation by FIFA should not be a reason for Libyan football to collapse.

Clemente also confirmed that he gave up a large part of his dues in recognition of the Libyan people who are suffering difficult circumstances, adding that the ball is now in the court of the Libyan Football Federation to pay its debts by the end of next September.
