The Director of Sabha International Airport, Mohamed Ouhaida, announced on Tuesday that flights to and from the airport are due to resume by early next week.

Ouhaida explained at a press conference that the airport authorities are awaiting the official go-ahead by letter, from the Civil Aviation Authority, regarding the airlines resumption of its flights to the south.

The commander of Sabha military region of Haftar’s militia had announced the approval of the so-called General Command to resume flights at the airport after it had previously closed the airport.
