Khalifa Haftar has received in his office in Rajma area east of Benghazi, a high-level delegation from Malta headed by Interior Minister Byron Camilleri.
Haftar thanked the Maltese government for the rapid response and sending equipment, diving equipment and rescue teams that played a distinguished role in the rescue operations in the city of Derna as a result of Storm Daniel, according to the Haftar’s media office.
The Maltese delegation emphasized their keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries in the economic and trade fields, and to continue cooperation to combat illegal immigration, in a way that serves the common interest between the two sides.
