Alsawaeid Sport Club announced, on Friday, the death of the club’s football team player and national Olympic team player, Yousef Al-Hamali.
The death of player Youssef Al-Hamali occurred after he swallowed his tongue in his sleep, leading to a lack of oxygen in his brain, after which he remained in intensive care for several days.
In view of this, Alsawaeid Club announced suspension of all sporting activities in the club for three days, to mourn its player.
The Libyan Football Association also offered its condolences to the club, the sports family and to Al-Sawaeid Club on the death of Al-Hamali.
