The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday that the Libyan Consulate in Tunisia has housed around 1362 citizens, but disclosed that 278 of them had paid the rent from their own account, promising that the consulate will resolve this issue at another time.

According to the consulate, Libyan citizens stranded in Tunisia, in particular, the sick ones, have received some medicines and medical supplies.

The consulate urged Libyans in Tunisia who applied for housing benefit to remain in their accommodation, ensuring that a representative from the crisis committee will contact them at their place of residence.
