The French ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mehraje, met with the mayor of Misrata Mahmoud Al-Souqatri, and municipal members, discussing joint cooperation between the embassy and municipality.
Mehraje said on Twitter on Thursday that the discussion at the Misrata municipality was fruitful and about cooperation in various fields.
Mehraje announced last Sunday that France would fund seven projects in Libya worth 3.5 million euros. The French ambassador thanked the International Libya Forum for organizing a meeting in Tunis, which he described as “fruitful” with ten non-governmental organizations operating across Libya.
