A French Military Medical Corps delegation visited Libya last week to discuss cooperation with the Libyan Ministry of Health.
The delegation visited the Salah al-Din Military Diagnostic Center and the Ali Omar Askar Hospital for Neurological Diseases and Surgery.
The Hakomitna platform said the objective of the visit was to assess the needs of the Libyan healthcare system and discuss the possibility of dispatching French doctors to Libya to provide medical care and training.
In mid-2023, a Libyan medical delegation visited France to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
