The Leader of the Ennahadha Party in Tunisia, Rachid Al-Ghannouchi, at the 40th session of the Ennahadha Council meeting, reiterated that the Government of National Accord (GNA) is the only legitimate governing body in Libya.
He added that Tunisia supports the political solution in Libya, confirming the legitimacy of the GNA, days after statements by Tunisian President Kais Saied, on an official visit to France, in which he considered the GNA’s legitimacy as ‘temporary authority’ based on international recognition, which sparked widespread controversy and outrage in Libya.
