Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has discussed with Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat bin Qadara, the approved development plan for the corporation with the aim of increasing oil production to two million barrels per day, as well as raising gas production and its derivatives.
During the meeting held on Thursday evening, head of government reaffirmed his support for the national efforts to stabilize the National Oil Corporation and to approve all its programmes and projects.
According to the official narrative, the approved plans consist of maintaining daily oil production and the necessary maintenance procedures, and creating an appropriate professional environment that contributes to the success of the development plan.
