The government held an event on Tuesday to celebrate the distribution of the 2nd batch of vehicles allocated for people with disabilities.

50 of the 3,000 people entitled to benefit from this service received their cars at a ceremony in the presence of Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah and Minister of Social Affairs Wafa Al-Kilani.

"The government accorded priority to this group by activating the Supreme Council for Persons with Disabilities," Dbeibeh said in a speech at the event, indicating that his government had increased their salaries by 45% and had previously allocated 450 marriage grants to this segment.

The 1st batch of cars, which included 2,300, was distributed in May of last year under the supervision of the PM.
