Human Rights Watch said that the family of the abducted MP Siham Sergiwa had reaffirmed the involvement of the so-called 106th Battalion, led by Haftar's son in her kidnapping in Benghazi.
The human rights group added in a statement Friday that cars belonging to the criminal investigation department of the east-based Interim Government, in addition to other police cars were seen roaming the area after the kidnappers have left the scene, in contrary to the statements of the interior minister of the Interim Government, Ibrahim Bouchnaf that their forces have clashed with the assailants of Sergiwa house.
