Libya Crime Watch (LCW) has renewed its call for the authorities to disclose information on the MP Siham Sergiwa case, who disappeared four years ago.

The organization called on the Public Prosecutor to open an impartial investigation into the circumstances of her disappearance and hold those responsible accountable.

"Four years have passed since Sergiwa was reported missing, and her fate remains unknown until now,"  LCW said.

On July 17, 2019, MP Siham Sergiwa was taken from her home in Benghazi by militias affiliated with warlord Khalifa Haftar.

Before the incident, the MP appeared on the Haftar-funded Al-Hadath channel to express her rejection of the aggression against Tripoli at the time.
