The French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, has discussed the initiative of the UN envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, regarding reaching a political solution in Libya.
This came during his meeting with the Second Deputy Speaker of the High Council of State (HCS), Omar Al-Obaidi, accompanied by the Chairman of the Political Affairs Committee, Abdulaziz Hariba, according to the HCS media office.
The meeting discussed developments in the political process in Libya, the steps taken to end the transitional stages, and stressed the need to complete reaching a national consensus that leads to holding parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.
