A delegation from Libya's High Council of State and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Government of National Unity explored opportunities to learn from Malaysia's expertise in communications technology, information, and Islamic banking. 

The delegation, led by Second Deputy Chairman of the Council of State, Omar Al-Obaidi, and including key council members and Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Saleh Al-Ghoul, visited the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuala Lumpur upon the invitation of the Malaysian government.

During the visit, they met with Malaysian Minister of Higher Education, Zambri Abdul Kadir and other officials to discuss scientific research collaboration, leveraging Malaysia's advancements in various fields.

They also focused on supporting Libyan students in Malaysia, streamlining postgraduate enrollment procedures, and facilitating residency arrangements for Libyan nationals living in Malaysia.
