The northwest parts of the country will see extreme temperatures starting from Saturday, which will persist for several days, relevant organizations have said.
Roaya for Astronomy and Space Applications Foundation said Friday that it expected temperatures in northwest Libya to be above 40° Celsius and may exceed 45° in mid-week, especially in southern Tripoli and the Jafara Plain.
The Foundation indicated that extreme weather will affect even more those living near the coastline.
