The Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency has developed a programme to fill the water supply deficit, amounting to 581 thousand cubic meters per day, at an estimated cost of six billion and 300 million dinars.

The average need reached two million cubic meters, of which an estimated quantity of 1.4 million cubic meters is available, according to a statement by the Government of National Unity on Friday via Hakomitna platform.

The platform said that the duration of the National Water and Sanitation Programme 2023-2026 is 38 months, while sewage flows currently reach 1.65 million cubic meters per day, and the programmes aim to establish 62 stations, and 13 stations are currently being constructed.
