The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has evacuated 277 immigrants of different nationalities from Libya.
IOM coordinator Juma Bin Hassan told Xinhua that 8 migrants were from Comoros, 137 from Cameroon, 123 from Senegal and 9 from Chad.
Meanwhile, the Tripoli Anti-Illegal Immigration Authority said the evacuation took place after issuing travel documents for the immigrants from their embassies, adding that they were evacuated from six detention centers: Qasir Bengashir, Tareeq Al-Matar, Tajoura, Tareeq Al-Sikka, Zuwara and Misrata.
