A delegation from the Italian Ministry of Interior arrived in Tripoli on Thursday, headed by the Director of the Central Department of Migration and Border Police, to participate in the meeting of the Libyan-Italian joint working group on security.
The Libyan-Italian joint working group concerned with security affairs held its second meeting in the capital, Tripoli, headed by the Director of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation at the Libyan Ministry of Interior and the Director of the Central Department of Migration and Border Police on the Italian side.
They discussed files on securing borders, combating illegal immigration and crimes, exchanging information, setting up coordination and communication mechanisms, and programming training courses for Libyan side.
