Head of Turkish-Libyan Business Council, Murtaza Karanfil, has said that in the past year 2022, Turkish exports to Libya amounted to 2.4 billion dollars, adding that during the first months of this year, exports amounted to 758 million dollars, despite the earthquake that struck Turkey.

The Turkish businessman, Karanfil pointed out in a statement that the Turkish Industries’ Exhibition, which was held recently in the city of Benghazi, was attended by about 38 companies and 65 businessmen, and that its goal is to enhance the volume of Turkish trade in Libya, which amounts to 15 billion dollars.

Karanfil explained that Turkish businessmen will be able to transform their outstanding experience into investments in areas needed by Libya and thus contribute to the country's development.
