The New United Nations Envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis, discussed on Sunday with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, ways of speeding up the Libyan negotiating pathways.
Shoukry said that Kubis briefed him on the outcome of his meetings with the various parties concerned with the Libyan situation.
In turn, Shoukry indicated the necessity to complete the political track by holding a meeting of the Libyan Parliament to discuss the formation of the new government and the holding of elections on schedule on December 24.
