The Libya Award for Excellence ceremony was held in Tripoli on Saturday to acknowledge the significant contributions made by various individuals, institutions, and organizations towards social well-being in 2023.
The event witnessed the recognition of Adel Al-Arifi, a religious reformer, Diar Al-Khair for Hajj and Umrah Services, the Tripoli Public Services Company, the General Electricity Company, the Municipality of Ain Zara, the Libyan Red Crescent Society, the General Holding Company for Communications, and the Libyan Theatre affiliated with the Ministry of Culture.
Journalists, athletes, artists, and elites attended the award distribution ceremony in its 2nd edition. The Libya Award for Excellence is a prestigious accolade granted to personalities from various fields, including sports, arts, humanitarian and creative endeavours, and successful institutions and organizations.
The award's sponsors said they aim to encourage fair competition and reflect the value of appreciation for those who have dedicated their efforts and contributions towards the nation's betterment.
