African Security and Intelligence Services

The Committee of African Security and Intelligence Services (CISSA) convened in Tripoli on Saturday, with the attendance of Presidential Council (PC) member Musa al-Koni.

During the meeting, Al-Koni emphasized the pivotal role of security services in maintaining stability and combating organized crime and terrorism across the African continent.

The session highlighted the importance of ongoing security coordination among member states, emphasizing the outcomes of the gathering as key to enhancing stability in the region.

The two-day conference, sponsored by the Libyan Intelligence Agency under the leadership of General Hussein al-Ayeb, will review research papers and working documents, focusing on developing strategies to combat terrorism and organized crime effectively.
