The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development has reported the seizure of clothing bearing slogans and writings that violate the law and denigrate religion and morality.
"This action was conducted through collaboration between the General Administration of Publications and Artistic Works at the Ministry of Culture and the Customs Authority," the Ministry of Culture stated on Facebook.
The ministry urged merchants to comply with Law No. 76 of 1976 and avoid importing products that contradict Islamic principles or offend Libyan society. It also encouraged consumers to uphold Libyan identity and avoid purchasing such items.
