The head of the Therapeutic Services Support and Development Authority, Ahmed Militan, has signed an agreement with the Slovakian company “Axis”, which specialises in physical therapy, to operate the National Center for Prosthetic Limbs.

Under the agreement, Axis will bring specialised staff to operate the Centre, develop an operational and training plan, and provide the equipment needed for physical therapy.

The Centre said the deal comes within a series of agreements implemented within the framework of its strategic plan to localise treatment at home.
