Minister of Economy and Trade Muhammad Al-Hawaij has joined the meeting of the Arab Economic and Social Council in Cairo.
The meeting kicked off its 111th session with the participation of the ministers of economy, trade, and finance of the Arab states.
In his statement, Al-Hawaij addressed the challenges of food security resulting from the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
He stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to face the difficulties associated with the economy and trade in the region.
