The maintenance team at the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has successfully contained an oil leak in a shipping line at the As-Sarah field.
The pipeline maintenance unit at the As-Sarah field, in collaboration with the operations department, managed to repair a leak that occurred in the shipping line from the Sat-31 satellite station to Complex No. (3) in the field, Agoco stated on Facebook.
It noted that the maintenance operation was carried out successfully without halting production. Workers were commended by management.
Last Thursday, AGOCO discussed technical issues at production sites and the resumption of work on stalled projects during an administrative meeting at the Nafoura field, aiming to increase oil production.
