The committee formed by the Presidential Council (PC) headed to follow up on the case of Hanibal, son of former ruler Muammar Gaddafi announced a plan for taking legal and diplomatic measures by the law in force in Libya, Lebanon, and international humanitarian law to end the case.

In a statement, the committee, headed by Libya's Ministry of Justice, confirmed that it had addressed the Lebanese authorities and its Lebanese counterpart regarding coordination and cooperation for the release of Hanibal Gaddafi.

The ministry underscored that the Government of National Unity is following up on all cases of Libyan prisoners abroad.
