The Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU) announced the preliminary work statistics of the Libyan medical team of volunteers working inside the areas affected by the earthquake in Turkey.

The GNU said the involvement was carried out inside the team's field hospital and consisted of 14 medium operations, 23 minor ones, and two cesarean sections, explaining that the team "is working to recover 17 bodies and monitor the situation of 5 children who are stuck under the rubble." It also said that most of the treated patients are of Syrian nationality.

The field hospital of the Libyan medical team is the only Arab hospital that has been set up in Turkey until this moment, according to the Libyan Field Medicine and Support Center.
