Libya's newly appointed Ambassador to Italy, Muhannad Younis, has presented his credentials to President Sergio Mattarella of Italy at the Quirinale Palace in Rome, where he conveyed to him the greetings of Libya's presidency.

Ambassador Younis highlighted the importance of cooperation to strengthen bilateral relations and to work together on issues of common interest. 

On his part, President Mattarella welcomed the Libyan official as an extraordinary ambassador to Italy and wished him success in his new duties, emphasizing the historical relations between the two countries and his government's desire to develop them in various fields, including in the economic area.
