The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has said that Minister Omran Al-Qayeb, phoned Libya's Ambassador in Khartoum, Fawzi Abu Meriz, to follow up on the situation of Libyan scholarship students in Sudan.
Al-Qayeb emphasized the importance of keeping the channels of communication open between the ministry and the Libyan missions in Sudan in anticipation of any emergency.
On his part, the ambassador confirmed that the situation is still under control and does not require extraordinary measures, such as transferring the students to other study arenas.
