The Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, met on Friday with The United States Ambassador to Turkey, David Satterfield, to update him on the current state of affairs in Libya.
Both parties discussed the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2510, which stipulates as mentioned in the Berlin Conference, the necessity to adhere to a cease-fire and the protection of civilians.
Having arrived in Istanbul on Thursday, Al-Sarraj met with the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan to discuss the same issue and also a number of other matters of mutual cooperation between Turkey and Libya.
