The Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, has called for helping the African continent, in order to change the approach of those wishing to leave it for Europe.

In a statement before the European Union Council, Meloni said that the Union’s budget must take into account the problem of instability in North Africa and the Mediterranean region.

Italy has called for review of the multi-year budget of the Union amounting to 12 billion euros by offering the population of the continent an option in terms of strategic partnership in the field of energy production that Europe needs.

The Italian Prime Minister pointed out that her country is working on this strategic project, to be a good starting point towards the African continent.
