The Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Mabrouka Toghi, has announced the formation of a committee to inventory all intangible heritage throughout Libya, which will complete its work soon. 

This came during her participation and the Minister of Education, Musa Al-Magarif, in the celebration of Libya’s ratification of the UNESCO Convention on Intangible Heritage 2023, which was organized by the Ministry of Culture in Tripoli, in the presence of the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kanan Yilmaz.

During her speech, Toghi stressed the importance of highlighting and protecting the authentic Libyan heritage, and working to highlight it, noting that joining this agreement reflects the diversity and richness of Libya’s intangible heritage.
