The Minister of Housing and Construction of the Government of National Unity, Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi, chaired a meeting on Sunday with representatives of the United Nations to discuss the issue of the displaced and those affected by wars.
During the meeting, the Ministry's tasks were discussed in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 22 of 2012 to assess damages from previous wars, since 2011, and review the working mechanism of the Central Committee for Compensations.
Al-Ghawi asked the United Nations representatives to share post-war reconstruction experiences in some countries to benefit from them and apply them in Libya.
