Misrata University has engaged in discussions with Huawei, the Chinese telecommunications giant, to explore avenues for bolstering technical collaboration. 

The meeting, led by university president Mohamed Aldanfour and Huawei's Vice President for the Mediterranean, Bob Shai, also discussed strategies for campus development and enhancing the university's digital infrastructure. 

Taking proactive steps, both parties agreed to convene a technical workshop in mid-May, which will serve as a platform to review and discuss technological initiatives aimed at enriching the learning experience and advancing the university's infrastructure. 

The university explained that the initiative is part of its broader strategy to expand partnerships with leading scientific institutions and corporations in Libya.
