The Misrata Medical Center (MMC) has discussed with the Eye Hospital in Tripoli aspects of cooperation to promote the localization of treatment at home.
"At the invitation of the MMC management, the Director of the Eye Hospital in Tripoli and her accompanying delegation visited the center on Saturday to discuss aspects of cooperation to support the in-patient localization program and integration with the ophthalmology department in several areas, including treatment of retinal diseases and corneal transplantation," the MMC explained.
Accompanied by the MMC President, the Director of the Eye Hospital, Rania El Khoja, toured the operating rooms and clinics and praised the center's efforts, including opening its doors to patients from all parts of Libya.
The centre indicated that the visit would have a tangible impact during the coming period.
