The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team has recovered two mortar shells from the Khallet al-Furjan area south of Tripoli, the Ministry of Interior confirmed on Tuesday.
The shell remnants were reportedly left from the 2019 aggression on Tripoli
The EOD team immediately moved to the site and conducted a comprehensive survey of the area, where they found two 60mm mortar shells.
The shells were transported to a designated storage area, pending their safe disposal, according to the ministry.
