Libyan Monarchy activists are preparing to hold an exceptional conference in Gharyan city on October 31 in order to help create a bloc involving all those calling for the return of the Libyan Monarchy and hence contact the United Nations demanding the activation of Libya's independence constitution and the monarchy regime.

The Director of the Medical Affairs Office at Ghat General Hospital, Abdul Razzaq Al Sagheer, has stated on the hospital`s official Facebook page that 50 cases of food poisoning were admitted to the hospital in between the short time of Sunday evening and Monday.

The agriculture sector in Zliten conducted Saturday a workshop on bee pests in autumn and in early winter, in cooperation with the Libyan Organization for Apiculture and Honey Production at Al-Asmaria University. The workshop, which is the first of its kind in Zliten, was attended by several specialists and concerned persons in addition to beekeepers from the city and neighboring areas.

A team tasked with assessing the damage caused by the conflict in Sabratha has recorded more than 500 damaged houses in the clashes that took place in the city recently.  On its Facebook page, the team said that it had made preliminary listing of all public and private damage, documenting more than 48 houses destroyed completely in addition to the homes nearby the water infrastructure and sanitation network.  The team is currently working on completing the damage control process to submit its findings to the Mayor of Sabratha Municipality, thereby transforming them to the Damage Control Committee of the Presidential Council in order to adopt the needed measures.

Local sources said that a 14-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging himself on Sunday morning and residents gathered to bury his remains in the afternoon. The city witnessed an unprecedented phenomenon of suicide attempts that reached 35 cases between deceased and those who survived. Despite the committee charged to investigate the situation had handed over its report to the Attorney General, no concrete results have been forthcoming yet.

Inhabitants of the region of Imsaad in the far east of Libya have threatened to close the city's border with Egypt in solidarity with the employees of Tobruk's port. A source told local media that the people are intending to close the borders due to the security chaos that has been going on for some time and to voice their distress of the decision to close the port of Tobruk in view of its importance in the region along with the crossing border of Imsaad. They residents stressed that the two of the land and sea borders are complementary to each other. Earlier this month Khalifa Haftar ordered the suspension of export and import from the port of Tobruk, replacing it with Benghazi's Port.

The Libyan Red Crescent in Ghadames has organized a training course on disaster management and proper handling of the dead. The course opened with a visual presentation on the concept and commitment of volunteerism and of the International movement of the Red Crescent and the Red Cross with a detailed study on the concept of managing remains and how to deal with them.

The head of Victims of Tawergha Association, Mohammed Radwan, said on Sunday that the former regime commander, Omar Tantoush, had ordered the Tawergha IDPs in the Naval Academy Camp near Wirshiffana region to recruit their sons within his forces in order to stay in the camp. Alnabaa TV quoted Radwan as saying that Tantoush stormed the camp with an armed force on Saturday and asked for at least one hundred young Tawerghan IDPs to join him, giving them twenty-four hours to evacuate the camp in case they refused to do so. When asked about the subordination of his force, Tantoush denied belonging to any of the state's military bodies, according to Radwan. Omar Tantoush is leading a group of armed men loyal to deposed dictator Gaddafi inside Wirshiffana region.

The Spokesman of Afriqiyah Airways, Imran Zabadi, has denied as baseless the news of the takeover of the company’s headquarters by an armed group in Tripoli, stressing that air operations are normal. On Saturday, local media outlets reported that an armed group had taken over the Afriqiyah Airways without giving further details.

Derna’s top security chief Brigadier Yahya Al-Usta Omar has demanded the release of detainees from the city after their abduction in Tripoli. On his Facebook page, Al-Usta said Sunday that an unknown group kidnapped two members of ISIS War Victims Adel Al-Kargli and Khalid Al-Hasadi from Diar Hotel in Tripoli. He confirmed that the two members were mandated by the Local Council of Derna to follow up the situation of those wounded during the war against ISIS in the city.

The Mayor of Tarhuna, Ayad Al-Bay, has held a meeting with the executive chairman of the Malaysian companies group, Mohamed Jafari, at the Bab El-Bahr Hotel in Tripoli to discuss the mechanism of implementing several investment projects in the city. The discussion focused on implementing the project of Tarhuna airport as well as projects in the agricultural wealth and livestock in the city. Agreements on the projects are to be signed in the coming hours, according to the Information Office of the Municipal Council of Tarhuna.
