Pakistani ambassador to Libya, Rashad Javid, has received three members of the United Nations Ceasefire Monitoring Team at the embassy's headquarters in Tripoli, according to the Pakistani embassy.
“Chief of UN Ceasefire Monitoring Team Badreddine El Harti, in Tripoli, paid a visit with two team members- one from Moroccan Army and other from Pakistani Army”, the Pakistani embassy tweeted.
This is the first diplomatic appearance of members of the United Nations team tasked with monitoring the ceasefire, according to the agreement signed by the two sides of the Joint Military Commission 5 + 5 on October 23, 2023.
