The head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi, met on Tuesday with the Pakistani ambassador to Libya, Rashad Javid, at the end of his duties as his country's ambassador to Libya.
During the meeting, Menfi praised the efforts made by the Pakistani ambassador to strengthen Libyan-Pakistani relations.
He also lauded the Pakistani government's support for the Presidential Council, and the cooperation and support that the ambassador and the diplomatic mission showed in the face of the political, security and economic challenges, according to the Presidential Council’s official website.
For his part, the Pakistani ambassador praised the support and understanding, he received throughout the time of his duty in Libya.
He also hailed the great efforts made by the head of the Presidential Council to achieve stability, wishing him and the PC success in achieving development and prosperity in Libya, according to the same source.
